Kosher Troops Packing
Cadets will travel to the Kosher Troops charity organization in Airmont, NY to help pack care packages for deployed Jewish Soldiers. Each Cadet will be able to significantly contribute to care packages designed for individual Soldiers as well as packages for families, small units, and entire congregations up to 50 people. Cadets will work alongside other volunteers (e.g., school kids, local Jewish congregants, retirees, etc.) for enhanced civil-military relations. Examples of locations sent care packages in the recent past include Iraq, Afghanistan, Italy, UK, Germany, Kuwait, and Korea. Overall, Kosher Troops sends more than 150 packages to more than 70 locations each holiday season.
