The West Point Jewish Chapel welcomes each incoming class of cadets with a fun-filled Plebe Retreat. The plebes are joined by Jewish upper class cadets, Jewish faculty lay-leaders, and delegates from the West Point Jewish Chapel Fund.
Friday evening features Shabbat services, followed by dinner, ice breakers, and free time. Saturday includes hiking and swimming, concluding with Havdalah and s'mores around a bonfire. The weekend is largely paid for by the West Point Jewish Chapel Fund, at no expense to participants.
